What is the Rockstar Rumble?
The Rockstar Rumble is a bracket style competition designed to find the top personal finance article of 2017. Bloggers (that’s me!), were able to submit their favorite post from last year and the team over at Rockstar Finance had the tough job of narrowing down the over 250 submissions to the top 128 posts (whew, I made it through that).
This is designed to run like the women’s college basketball NCAA tournament.* Where you can root for the underdog, also me! And hopefully a Cinderella story of a new blogger crushes one of the giants! Or you know, the best post of 2017 can at least get lots of attention and help all the readers out there with their burning personal finance needs.
Why Did I Submit a Post?
Well Rockstar Finance is really helpful to find readers and send traffic over to my blog. I love talking all things frugal, simple, and early retirement. I also love the small community that has been built up over the past ten months of me blogging! First I blogged into the void and didn’t share any of my articles.
In time I started getting connected to the wonderful online personal finance community, and they are wonderful! And you readers are the best, thanks!
I love a good competition and I’d love to reach more readers, so it was a no brainer to participate! And I’m honored to have made the first round of the competition.
Let’s see how far I can make it this year! I’m gunning for that trophy!
So, yeah, my plea:
And I’ll keep dreaming about having my one shining moment!
*The men’s now has play in games, so not the same as the rumble.
